Parish Religious Education Program (PREP)

Confirmation

Receiving the sacrament of confirmation brings us more fully into the Church and into a deeper relationship with God. We are spiritually strengthened by the gifts of the Holy Spirit which help us face the challenges of life faithfully and become strong Christian witnesses to the world.

Preparation for the sacrament of confirmation is a two-year process beginning in 8th grade. Classes meet during the year beginning on October 17th. All gatherings begin with 10am Mass followed by instructional/activity time until 2:30pm.

The registration fee for religious education programs are as follows: $25 for 8th Grade and $30 for 9th Grade. The fees help to cover the cost of books and supplies. If this amount poses a problem, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Religious Education Director, Marcia Bugbee (prepstbernards.church@gmail.com). Please contact the Director of Religious Education if you are interested in volunteering as a catechist.
